Six rounds, teams of up to six, and a bar tab for the winners.

Tables near the generator fill by 6:30. Reserve a team table from the events page or turn up and we will fit you in. The host reads every answer out, so nobody needs a phone.

Every Wednesday, 6 PM to 7:30 PM
5 km out and back on the river trail, then a runner's pint for $6.
Meets on the patio · Free · All ages
Two pace groups, nobody left behind. Headlamps from October. The runner's price holds on any pint or a house root beer until 8 PM.
First Friday of the month, from 5 PM
A new beer goes on the board at 5 PM. The brewer pours the first round.
The bar · No cover · 19+
One new or seasonal beer taps each month. The brewer is behind the bar for the first hour to answer questions, and the first twenty glasses are tasters on the house.
Last Saturday of the month, from 8 PM
One acoustic act from the valley, two sets, the room lit low.
The stage under the crane · $15 at the door · 19+
Seated, about eighty chairs, first come. The kitchen stays open to 10 PM. Door money goes to the players.
Every Sunday, noon to 5 PM
Board games, the kids' menu at $5, and the house root beer on tap.
Long tables and the patio · Kids eat for $5 · All ages
The games shelf is by the generator. Highchairs and a change table are in the accessible washroom. The bar rail stays adults only.
Every Saturday, 1 PM to 1:45 PM
45 minutes through the machine hall, the brewhouse and the cold cellar.
Starts at the generator · $25 with a flight · 19+
Also at 3 PM. Fourteen people a tour. Closed-toe shoes for the brewhouse floor.
Plan it before the first round. The driver of your table drinks free all night from the no-alcohol list: root beer, hop water, cold brew, coffee and pop. The bar will call you a cab, and the Castlegar to Nelson bus stops at the highway, a six-minute walk.
Our own lot off Turbine Hall Road, about 40 spaces, free. Bike racks by the door. On First Pour Friday and Live in the Hall nights it fills by 7.
Birthdays at the rail end, dinners at the long table under the crane, receptions around the generator. Every space has its minimum spend printed, and a builder works out your date.
